Autumn

Autumn mushrooms

Autumn rains after a long hot summer have given us a good crop of mushrooms, what a pleasure to gather boxes of perfect clean pink mushrooms from the paddocks to cook up for dinner and the freezer.

Calves arrive to day, 35, to replace those sold in the drought.  Grass is growing well and winter crops are finally looking good, so we will be well prepared for winter.
